From the early 1800s. this sofa from the Lindome area of Sweden has been upholstered in a lovely neutral linen hemp. The seat is nice and firm and with the attractive curved arm detail, it is very comfortable. Decorative carving detail. It would look lovely in a drawing room or hall or any reception room as well as a bedroom piece. A lovely example of Swedish furniture of that period. The seat height is 44cm.
