Oak serving table, 19th century French. Lovely piece at 2 metres long, it is more compact than some as they tend to be 2.5m and longer. Ideal as an entrance hall table to put a couple of lamps on and hang a picture above, or as a serving table or display table in a kitchen or dining room. At this size, it would also work well in a sitting room or drawing room behind a high-backed sofa. Good proportions, and attractive carved legs.. Would also look lovely in a hotel or restaurant.
